Omicron Variant Of Covid-19 Reported In 23 Countries So Far: WHO

The World Health Organization (WHO) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, confirmed that 23 countries, including Botswana, Nigeria, South Korea, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Japan, Canada and Australia reported Omicron new Covid-19 variant cases. Classified as "Variant of Concern" Omicron found in South Africa is spreading rapidly across the globe. Addressing a press conference, the WHO chief alerted all the countries, asking to take Omicron as an "Extremely Serious" concern.
