ONE Championship Signs Indian Mixed Martial Artist Kanthraj Agasa

Kanthraj Shankar Agasa nicknamed as "Kannadiga" is an Indian Mixed Martial Artist, hailing from Karnataka's Shimoga. Agasa fights in the Bantamweight division and is affiliated to Indian Combat Sports Academy (ICSA). Agasa is arguably the best Mixed Martial Artist in India and is ranked in top five in the South Asian rankings according to various lists.

On August 27, he posted a story on Instagram revealing his latest contract with ONE Championship. Agasa has fought in various promotions, and stayed undefeated in Super Fight League (SFL). Reportedly, the fighter has signed with ONE Championship for his future fights. Known for his ground game, Agasa holds an MMA record of 11-2. His notable wins are against Sumeet Khade and Nawraz Abzakh.

Fellow Indian combat sports athletes took to social media and wished him luck in his new journey towards cementing his legacy. ONE Championship is Asia's largest sports association with international audience and high-level fighters. According to sources, "Kannadiga" Agasa will debut in the promotion after he successfully recovers from an ongoing treatment for his shoulder injury.
