The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences board will have maximum females for the first time in the organization's 94-year existence, ranging from 26 to 31 members. Furthermore, the underrepresented communities i.e. racial/ ethnic communities have increased by 25% from 12 to 15. The 54-member board has decided to make changes after the Academy's board elections.
