OTT platforms may have to curb the blunt content, plotlines and abusive languages, which interestingly have been the USP of their films and web-series. The Information and Broadcasting Ministry's recently released guidelines are aimed at curtailing the "sleaze" contents on digital platform. Many filmmakers have raised apprehensions that the regulations could snatch away the authenticity of the shows. However, veteran lyricist commentator Amit Khanna said there was no reason to fear from the regulations.
