Over 40,000 Motorists Fined For Traffic Violations During 12-Hour Drive: Mumbai
Nearly 40,000 motorists in Mumbai were fined for traffic violations on June 4 as part of a special 12-hour drive. The majority of instances, 10,338 in total, were for two-wheelers or riding without helmets during the drive, which took place from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on June 3. Illegal parking, needless honking, vehicles parked near railway stations, wrong-side driving, silencer modification, overspeeding, and food delivery vehicles were all targeted.
