Oxford-AstraZeneca Coronavirus Vaccine's Trials Shelved Citing Safety Review

The trials of the coronavirus vaccine, developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University, has been shelved as one of the participants showed an adverse reaction. However, AstraZeneca spokesperson said, "Standard review process triggered a pause to vaccination to allow review of safety data." However, the details regarding the adverse effect have not been revealed. The trials are in the final stage, and are being conducted in various countries including India.
