Pakistan Citizens Faces Record Hike In Fuel Prices Amid Economic

Amid the worst economic crisis, the Pakistan Government announced hike in fuel prices for citizens.  In effect from February 16, citizens will pay PKR 272/litre for petrol, while diesel will cost PKR 280/litre. The increase in fuel prices will inflict more pain on the already-burdened citizens of the South Asian nation. Moreover, the hike came hours after Shehbaz Sharif government tabled a supplementary finance bill in the Pakistan National Assembly.
