Pakistan Expects $1.8 Bn After Qualifying For G-20 Debt Relief Initiative
Qualifying for the G-20 debt relief initiative, Pakistan has received a relief of over $800 million from 14 G-20 Countries. However, the rescheduling of debt with six other nations is yet to be finalized. With a principal amount of $1.47 billion and $323 million interest, Pakistan is expecting a relief over $1.8 billion debt. The initiative has been started during the COVID-19 pandemic to assist poor countries like Pakistan.
