Part Time Job Offer Fraud, Mumbai Man Loses Rs 32.85 Lakhs

A 29-year-old resident of Ambernath got trapped in a cyber fraud and lost Rs 32.85 lakh within 12 days. The complainant had surfed the internet for part-time opportunities, where the victim was promised Rs 3,000-6,000 every day. The victim received a freelance job offer on WhatsApp, saying he was discovered on a recruitment platform. Initially, the victim received money and continued investing, losing lakhs. Investigation into the matter is underway.
