PM Modi To Declare Gujarat's Modhera As India's 1st Solar Powered Village

PM Narendra Modi is scheduled to declare Gujarat's Modhera village in Mehsana district as India's first solar-powered village, with the installation of 1,000 solar plants, on October 9. Moreover, these solar plants installed over houses of villagers, will provide zero-cost, round-the-clock electricity to the residents, said the BJP-led Gujarat Government. Besides, the famous Sun Temple in Modhera will also get a 3D-Projection, under PM Modi's renewable-energy vision.
