PM Modi Has Consistently Supported Sports, Athletes, Says Union Minister For Youth Affairs & Sports

Anurag Thakur, Union Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports stated on July 28 that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has demonstrated his consistent support for sports and athletes. "Sports in India is getting stronger every single day," he said. He stated at the opening event of the 44th Chess Olympiad, held at JLN Indoor Stadium in Chennai, that more than 300 infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,700 crores are now under construction.
