PM Modi Unveils 9 Medical Colleges In Uttar Pradesh

Nine Medical institutes were launched in Uttar Pradesh by PM Narendra Modi on October 25. Reportedly, eight medical institutions come under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme for "Establishment of new medical colleges attached with district/ referral hospitals". While the one comes under the state government. The scheme intends to address the current geographical imbalance in the distribution of medical colleges, and make better use of the district hospital facilities.
