Popular file-sharing site WeTransfer banned by Indian Government

The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has banned the popular file-sharing site WeTransfer, citing national and public interest as the reasons for the ban. DoT has also issued notices to internet service providers across the country. Currently, it's unclear what was found objectionable on the page, however, access to WeTranfer has been blocked by most of the leading Internet Service Providers.
