Posing As Doctor, Fruit Seller Arrested For Treating COVID-19 Patients

The Maharashtra Police in Nagpur district have nabbed a fruit seller for posing as a doctor and treating COVID-19 patients. Reportedly, the accused, Chandan Naresh Chaudhary, ran an Ayurvedic dispensary for the past five years and when the cases rose, he started treating COVID-19 patients. Booking the accused under the Maharashtra Practitioners Act, the police seized medical equipment including oxygen cylinders from his clinic.
