Pranab Mukherjee Still in Coma, Now Being Treated for Lung Infection

Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee, is currently being treated for a respiratory infection, and is still on ventilator support. The 84-year-old Mukherjee underwent a major brain surgery to remove a clot, which resulted due to a fall he took at his residence. He had also tested positive for Covid-19, which led to him developing a respiratory infection. His condition "remains unchanged. He is deeply comatose," said the hospital in its bulletin.
