Prime Minister Speaks About Skill Development on ‘World Youth Skill Day’

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day and the fifth anniversary of the ‘Skill India’ mission, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation’s youth at the Digital Skills Conclave held on July 15. He Stressed the importance of youth’s skill development while he spoke on how youth today have changed the work environment, giving credits to them for “speedily adapting to new skills, keeping up with the changing trends in technology.” “The only way to stay relevant in these turbulent times is to skill, re-skill and up-skill. Not just learning new skills but constantly upgrading and getting better is what the youth needs. Also, learning the difference between knowledge and skill is important. That is the very purpose with which ‘Skill India’ mission was started,” he added.
