Production Halts at Toyota Karnataka Plant

Toyota Kirloskar Motor stated the suspension of production at its plant in Bidar (Karnataka) in accordance with guidelines issued by the state government due to the increasing Covid-19 cases. The company had imposed its first suspension in late March, even before the nationwide lockdown. This second suspension will take place between July 14 and July 22 for the first shift. Several employees have tested COVID positive.
