Railways Provides Flexibility to Private Operators in Choosing Halt Stations

Private players, who will be allowed by the Central government to operate passenger trains from 2023, have also been given flexibility in deciding the halt stations of the trains. However, the private operators have to notify the Railways regarding this in advance, stated the documents released by the Indian railways. Under this project, Private operators are allowed to invest in the Railways' network and provide world-class travel standards to passengers.
