Raj Thackeray Gives Final Warning Over Loudspeaker Row: Maharashtra
The ongoing Loudspeaker row intensified with a final warning by MNS Chief Raj Thackeray. On May 1, Thackeray addressed a gathering in Aurangabad and said, if by May 4, loudspeakers are not removed, he will play "Hanuman Chalisa" in double volume. Justifying the matter as a national issue and not a religious issue, Thackeray said, "I will do rallies in all cities, Vidarbha, Kokan, West Maharashtra, east Maharashtra" against loudspeakers.
