A Rare Sun Halo With Rainbow Colours Witnessed In Bengaluru Skies

Bengaluru people witnessed a unique sun halo on May 23 that lasted about an hour and attracted the citizens to take pictures and enjoy the view. Identified as ‘22 degrees halo,’ the effect formed circular rainbow with a radius of approximately 22 degrees around the sun. Soon, the social media was flooded with several pictures of the optical phenomenon. Notably, the city witnessed similar experiences in last week also.
