Ratan Tata Requests People To Stop Bharat Ratna Campaign For Him
After a social media campaign demanding 'Bharat Ratna' award for Ratan Tata started trending, the Indian business tycoon on February 6 requested people to stop the campaign. Making the appeal, the Tata group chairman tweeted, "I consider myself fortunate to be an Indian and to try and contribute to India’s growth and prosperity." Under the campaign, netizens started recalling Tata's contributions towards the society while making a case for India's highest civilian award for him.
