Restaurant Collapses in China amid Birthday Party; 29 Dead, 7 Critically Injured

On August 29, at least 29 people were killed when a restaurant collapsed in China's Shanxi Province. Reportedly, people were attending a birthday party when the two-story building collapsed. The incident left dozens injured, and seven critically injured. Over 57 people were pulled out from debris in the rescue operation which was carried out on August 30. An investigation team has been set up to examine the accident.
