RTI Activist Shot Dead In Madhya Pradesh's Vidisha, Investigation Underway

Ranjeet Soni, a Right To Information (RTI) activist and a former government contractor was allegedly shot dead by unidentified persons near the Public Works Department (PWD) office in Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh. On June 2, evening, assailants killed Soni and left the spot, said DSP Monica Shukla. The police registered and suspected personal rivalry a reason, as Soni used to gather government data through RTI. Furthermore, the investigation is underway.
