Russia, India Begin Naval Operation "INDRA" at Bay of Bengal on Sept 4
India and Russia began the biannual naval exercise "INDRA" on September 4 at the Bay of Bengal. The two-day operation will include training on tackling the emerging challenges related to the sea, aerial gunfire and location tracking. While Russian side will partake with naval ships - Admiral Vinogradov, Admiral Tributs and tanker Boris Butoma, India will show its naval muscles with destroyer Ranvijay, Sahyadri frigate, Kiltan corvette, and tanker Shakti.
