Russia Likely To Go Under Lockdown After Rise In COVID Fatalities
Russia reported a record of 1,075 COVID deaths in the last 24 hours as of October 23. Despite of the availablity of home grown Sputnik-V vaccine, only 36 percent of the population have been vaccinated, according to reports. Authorities have been accused of vastly downplaying the effects of the pandemic and plans for a nation wide lockdown by next week.
