SC Orders To Demolish 40 Storey Building For Illegal Construction

The Supreme Court (SC) on February 7, ordered the demolition of twin tech tower buildings in Noida, as the construction was illegal, violating building norms. The Apex Court asked the Noida CEO to hold a meeting with concerned officials and begin the demolition works in two weeks. The constructors of the 40-storey tower, at sector 83, has been asked to refund the money of home buyers with 12% interest.
