SC Rules CoA Assigned By Delhi HC Will Not Take Over IOA Operations; Issues Status Quo Orders

Supreme Court imposed status quo orders on August 18, preventing Committee of Administrators formed by Delhi High Court from taking over Indian Olympic Association. IOA and Center had petitioned SC in response to Delhi HC's decision. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, representing Center, pointed out "India has already been suspended from FIFA. The Olympic Association may also suspend the Indian Olympic Association if CoA is appointed as 'third party interference'."
