Section 144 Imposed In Mumbai To Curb COVID-19 Spread

Maharashtra government imposed section 144 in Mumbai to curb the spread of COVID-19 starting from December 30, till January 7, 2022. In the meantime, any New Year party, celebrations have also been banned in restaurants, hotels, bars, pubs, resorts, and clubs. Besides, Mumbaikars have been advised to celebrate the occasion at their home. The government has also prohibited religious and cultural programmes and processions to avoid gatherings.
