Security Forces Identify & Destroy 5 Kg Explosives Planted On Roadside: J&K

Security Forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district averted a great tragedy by identifying and destroying five kilos of Improvised Explosives Device (IED), on December 23. Reportedly, the search operation jointly conducted by police, 50 RR and 183 BN CRPF officials, identified the explosives which was planted along the roadside in Wanpora. The bomb disposal team then destroyed the explosives through "controlled detonation". Further investigation on the matter is underway.
