Self-Administered Urine Test Can Detect Womb Cancer, Study Claims

The University of Manchester in its break-through report claims to detect womb cancer by a simple urine test, with over 91% accuracy. The study furthered that the current available method uses highly invasive and painful measure, inserting long devices into womb through vagina and cervix. Reportedly, the new, quick and cost-effective method will help women collect self-administered samples through vaginal swabs or urine, later tested at lab for malignant cells.
