Senior IAS Officer Vandita Sharma Named Karnataka's New Chief Secretary

Senior IAS officer Vandita Sharma has been appointed as the Karnataka chief secretary, by CM Basavaraj Bommai. Sharma will take the office following the retirement of P Ravi Kumar, on May 31. Hailing from Punjab, Vandita Sharma will hold the office till November 2023. She has 36 years of experience in the fields of land revenue management, district administration, rural development, women and child development, civil aviation, etc.
