Serious Criminal Charges Against 25% Of Newly Elected MLAs In TN: Report
A joint analysis by the Association of Democratic Reforms and National Election Watch has revealed that nearly 25% of newly elected MLAs in the TN Assembly Elections have criminal charges against them. Reportedly, out of 224 MLAs, 57 have cases registered against them including those of murder. Interestingly, the ratio of stained representatives increased significantly against the past assembly election mark of 19% with 42 MLAs having cases against them.
