Shinzo Abe's Assassin Tetsuya Yamagami To Be Detained Till Nov For Mental Evaluation
Former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe's assassin Tetsuya Yamagami will be detained till November for mental evaluation. The officials during this time will determine whether to send the suspect for murder trial. Yamagami (41) allegedly assassinated Abe while the leader was making a campaign speech outside a busy train station on July 8. Yamagami told police that Abe had links to a religious group which he hated.
