Shiv Sena Launches Protest Against Rising Fuel, Gas Price In Mumbai
Maharashtra's ruling party Shiv Sena launched a potential state-wide protest against a hike in petrol and cooking gas costs in Mumbai on February 5. Reportedly, Mumbai's Parbhani has the highest petrol price of Rs 96/litre. Shiv Sena's Ashish Chemburkar has threatened the protests would intensify if the Centre does not take any action. Meanwhile, ex-CM Devendra Fadnavis advised the state to lower its fuel tax to recede the prices.
