Singapore Irked Over Kejriwal's Remarks On 3rd Wave COVID Strain

Singapore, in its retaliatory statement over Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal's Singapore strain remark, said that the variant B.1.617.2 which Kejriwal is worried about is already in India. The Singapore government tweeted, "There is no truth in the assertion that there is a new COVID strain in Singapore" and that it originated in India only and causing clusters in Singapore. Earlier, Kejriwal had said Singapore strain can cause third COVID-wave.
