Smriti Irani Meets Prez Draupadi Over Rashtrapatni Remark
Union Minister Smriti Irani met President Droupadi Murmu in Delhi, on July 29. The meeting was in view of the recent controversial remark "Rashtrapatni" of Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury against President Murmu. The BJP demanded an apology and criticised the Indian National Congress, leading to the adjournment of parliament houses. "Had the privilege of calling upon the Honourable President of India Droupadi Murmu Ji along with MOS," tweeted Irani.
