Sonia Gandhi Criticizes Government Over Petrol & Diesel Hike

Slamming the Central government, Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Monday accused the BJP Government of "extorting money from people." She said that the gov't has hiked excise duty on petrol and diesel 12 times since 2014 and collected almost Rs 18 Lakh crores. Gandhi leads the "Speak Up Against Fuel Hike" campaign and has asked the gov't. to revert it as the world is fighting a pandemic.
