South African Swimmer To Face Extended Ban For Doping; May Miss 2020 Olympics

South African swimmer and Olympic gold medalist Roland Schoeman may be unable to take part in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics if he fails to prove the source of the doping. Ronald was handed 1-year ban in May 2019 after he tested positive for GW501516, an illegal drug. But, the World Anti-Doping Agency has now requested the court to extend the ban for up to four years. However, Roland has refuted the accusations.
