SpaceX To Accept Payment In Dogecoin For Next Payload Mission

Elon Musk's SpaceX and Geometric Energy Corporation have agreed to do the financial transactions completely in cryptocurrency Dogecoin for their next satellite mission in early 2022. The lunar payload mission, named DOGE-1, will aim to establish miniature satellite cubesat aboard the Falcon 9 rocket. SpaceX's Commercial Sales VP Tom Ochinero said, "This mission will demonstrate the application of cryptocurrency... and set the foundation for interplanetary commerce."
