SpaceX's $2.9Bn NASA Contract Suspended Amid Rival Companies' Protest

The protest from space companies Blue Origin and Dynetics had forced NASA to suspend its $2.9 billion Moon lander contract given to Elon Musk-owned SpaceX. The rebel companies argued that NASA was supposed to choose two companies for the mission, but it opted for only one, thereby endangering the mission's speedy timeline. The mission's development is now possible only after federal watchdog Government Accountability Office resolves the dispute.
