Spike Lee Becomes 1st Black Person To Head Cannes Film Festival Jury
Hollywood director Spike Lee has become the first black person to head the prestigious Cannes Film Festival jury. Known for films like 'Do the Right Thing' and 'BlacKkKlansman' premiered at Cannes, Lee will be the President of Jury for 74th Cannes. Besides, the festival's President Pierre Lescure thanked Lee for his loyalty by taking the position in times of uncertainty. The pandemic-delayed festival is slated to take place from July 6-17.
