State-Run SSKM Hospital Turning Into Resort For TMC Officials, Says BJP Amid Arrest Of Bengal TMC Minister

BJP claimed Kolkata's Seth Sukhlal Karnani Memorial (SSKM) Hospital had become a "resort" for scam-tainted Trinamool Congress officials, smashing West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee on July 24. Sukanta Majumdar, West Bengal BJP head, said practice of admitting "tainted" governing party politicians to SSKM claiming "uneasiness" must end. He stated they should be treated at any medical facility that is not under jurisdiction of state government to avoid persuading hospital officials.
