Sudan Bars Entry Of Travellers From India As COVID Cases Rise

Sudan's Health Emergency Committee has announced that the travellers from India and those who visited India two weeks prior will be barred from entering the African country. The decision was taken as the B.1.617 variant has pushed India's COVID tally beyond 25-million mark. Besides, the committee also ordered to shut down schools for a month and warned of crossing the 1,00,000-cases mark if people do not follow the restrictions.
