Sunil Gavaskar Says Anushka Sharma Misinterpreted His Comments

Veteran cricketer Sunil Gavaskar on September 25 denied blaming Anushka Sharma for her husband Virat Kohli's poor performance in an IPL match. He also said that his comments were being misinterpreted as sexist remarks. Gavaskar clarified that he made the statement in reference to a video clip, in which Kohli and Anushka were playing cricket in their house. Earlier, actress Anushka Sharma has criticised the cricketer for "distasteful" comments.
