To Supply Water In Hyderabad, Telangana Govt Allots Rs. 1200 Cr

Telangana government sanctioned Rs. 1200 crores to improve drinking water supply of Hyderabad Urban local bodies and Gram Panchayats. The work will be done by Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewarage Board (HMWS&SB). Under the Mission Bhagiratha program, the project aims to cover left-out areas around Greater Hyderabad till 2036. The project work includes construction of additional service reservoirs for 137 UMLD, pipelines for 2,100 kilometres.
