Supreme Court criticizes automobile dealers for flouting registration norms

The Supreme Court of India on March 25 permitted Federation of Automobiles Dealership Association (FADA) of India to sell 1.05 lakh BS4 vehicles for 10 days post lockdown since BS4 emission standard expires during the lockdown. Apex court on June 10 criticised FADA for flouting norms as reports suggested that 2.55 lakh new BS4 vehicles sold during the period.
