Suspected Cattle Lifters Lynched In Assam Near Indo-Bangladesh Border

Three Bangladeshi nationals alleged to be cattle lifters were lynched and beaten by the locals in the Karimganj district of Assam, on July 18 midnight. Prasanta Dutta, an Additional Superintendent of Police said that a group of seven people from Bangladesh had entered the region to steal cow. However, four of them managed to run away, while the others were caught by the villagers and later succumbed to their injuries.
