Suu Kyi's NLD Party Back To Power In Myanmar After Sweeping Majority

Aung San Suu Kyi's National League for Democracy (NLD) has secured a majority by winning 346 seats in the Myanmar general elections. Despite the Rohingya crisis, Suu Kyi counted huge support for NLD while being criticized worldwide. After the landslide victory NLD announced to also include ethnic minority parties in running the government. However, the military-run opposition has demanded a re-run for the election, saying the vote was neither free nor fair.
