Taliban To Enforce Sharia Law; Establishes Military Tribunal
Following the direction of its supreme leader Hebatullah Akhundzada, the Taliban established a military tribunal under its rule in Afghanistan, as per media reports. The tribunal will reportedly be responsible for enforcing the sharia system, issuing divine decrees, and making social reforms. It'll also register complaints, lawsuits, and petitions against the Taliban officials, police, and army personnel. The Taliban also appointed Obaidullah Nezami as the Tribunal's Chairman.
