Tamil Nadu Couple Hosts Metaverse Marriage Reception, Becomes 1st In Asia

A couple from Tamil Nadu, became first in Asia, who merged tradition and technology as they hosted their wedding reception through Metaverse. The duo, Dinesh SP and Janganandhini Ramaswamy, organised their Hogwarts-themed Metaverse wedding reception, on 6 February. The bride’s father passed away but Dinesh decided to have his father-in-law’s digital avatar at the reception. Notably, Metaverse is a digital space represented by digital representations of people, places, and things.
